On the horsetrack Düsseldorf – old, romantic and woody-white – the acoustic reliability of the place and its main attraction – the running horses – is channeled between the two main tribunes, leaving one acoustically depraved of the exhilaration of the spectacle, while handing in your bet.

Within the bedding shops I placed six speakers phase shifting a six channeled fieldrecording. While the recording was made along a serial horizontal line. The performance was made with the speakers along a corner. Thus the horses were running with full speed around this corner, a tiny glitch gave the sound the possibility to adjust its direction.

The work was inspired by a photograph of Alexander Rodtschenko.
